Let your inner voice be heard and its message appreciated!

The Vistar Method for Circles was developed by Ron and Victoria Friedman of the Vistar Foundation (www.vistarfoundation.org). The format is uniquely suited to the experience of collective awakening and co-creation and involves three sections, three roles and four simple guide rules. These structural elements will be clearly explained before the discussion begins.

As participants become comfortable with the format, each will have an opportunity to lead the circle, a role that involves ensuring that the format is maintained and selecting the topic for discussion. 

We plan to run this event in cycles that will each last several sessions. Each cycle will be assigned a broad subject area to guide the selection of topics for each session.  Nancy Harcourt will lead the circle initially and has chosen the first cycle subject to be Human Spirituality. The subject of subsequent cycles will be a group decision.You’re invited to attend the initial meeting (free of charge) to get a feeling for how this format works and decide whether you would like to make a commitment to participate in the first cycle.

Continuing members will be asked to make a donation ($5–$10) each session to help defray costs incurred by the meeting facility.

The presenter: Nancy Harcourt 
While living in Colorado, Nancy Harcourt was introduced to the Vistar Method, which she practiced with a group in Fort Collins for nearly two years. Because she found it to be a simple but effective means of heightening consciousness, she would like to share the method with others who seek and value authentic relationships and communication.

Nancy was born in San Jose, California, lived in Colorado for many years and now makes her home in Bonita Springs, primarily due to a joyous addition to her Southwest Florida family—her first grandchild. Her educational background is in art, philosophy and religious studies, and she received a degree in philosophy from San Jose State University. Nancy has continued her education informally throughout her life, with primary interests in philosophy and spirituality.
