Dr. Silvia Casabianca graduated as a medical doctor at the University of Rosario, in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1972. She obtained a MA in Art Psychotherapy from Concordia University (Montreal, CA), and a Doctorate in Education from Nova SE University (US). As a mental health counselor, Dr. Casabianca has explored family dynamics, parenting approaches, and the effects of Western parenting practices and pedagogies on children. Looking at the current state of the world, she is motivated to explore how to promote Heartminded Parenting and how to stimulate empathy in children. More:
